The good thing about P90x is that not all of the workouts are impossibly tough; no, some are actually fun and comparably easy. One of those p90x workouts is the cardio x workout. Cardio x is similar to the plyometrics x workout, except that it's not an intense and focuses on the cardio aspects of the workout rather than building muscles. This is a good thing: if you've been working hard and following the schedule you're going to thank Tony Horton for the break.
In fact Cardio X can act as a substitute to Kenpo x or the plyometrics workout; it's, as Tony likes to put it, the easier version of the two.

When To Do Cardio X
Cardio X is best done in-between heavy muscle workouts. This means, for example, that if you did the p90x chest and back workout on Monday, then on Tuesday, if you don't want to do plyometrics or Kenpo, you should do cardio x.
P90x Cardio X Workout List
Like mentioned above Cardio X can be added or subtracted from your weekly workout schedule. Not feeling up to Plyometrics on a Monday? No worried; fire up Cardio X and do a comparable but not as intense workout. Many people will tell you that Cardio X is a very enjoyable workout, taking you through unique movements and exercises.

P90x Cardio Review
The cool thing about Cardio X is, even though it is a combination of exercises from other P90x workouts, it's still filmed as it's own workout. This makes it feel like a unique workout on it's own; you'll find that each segment of Cardio X flows nicely together.
Cardio X should only be done when you're not feeling like giving it all in other workouts. It's a great supplement to workouts such as plyometrics and Kenpo because, even though the focus is cardio, it still works those muscle groups. And it's a lot more fun. The routine in Cardio X, as you can see from above, has many exercises which require fun and quirky movements. The time will fly by and so will the calories is Cardio X.
In the end Cardio X is an excellent change of pace from other P90x workouts. You'll still work up a sweat and, with the encouragement from Tony, you might even have a little fun.
